Wifey’s cousin is getting married today. This cousin according to wifey is one of the better ones that he likes and is willing to help. This is also an important day to me as I was the only one that was invited to watch the ceremony. When I say the only one invited, it was not a joke. Among all wifey’s friends, MIL knew Sri, Yazid and a few others who are very close to wifey. However, MIL had invited me (through Kak Ita) to come and witness the ceremony. Wonder if this is a hint to me that she allows me to marry wifey.
The ceremony was held in the late afternoon, and there are really lots of people. Even wifey’s relatives from Malaysia came down to witness the ceremony. Kak Wary and her daughter were also present and sad to say her daughter could not remember who I am.
Me and wifey headed up when the timing for the ceremony approaches and we remained in the kitchen to watch the whole ceremony. Before that, we managed to take a picture together with the bride and see how nicely the room is decorated for the wedding.
The whole ceremony is pretty fast compared to the one i went with wifey during his colleagues wedding. According to wifey, the process can be long is the groom did not managed to recite the vows smoothly, thus having to repeat till he managed to. For wifey’s cousin side, the groom is pretty amazing and seem like he had practice the whole night to get the vow right. The groom only has to recite it once and he got it all right and smooth, earning himself a wonderful and pretty wife.
After the ceremony, it is not convenient for me to stay as it is family time for wifey and his relatives. I then left the place and head home to rest while waiting for wifey’s call.
