Today is the eve of my birthday. Me and wifey had planned days ago that I will be staying over at his place tonight since MIL is out of Singapore to Batam for a couple of days. To be honest I am very very excited as it has been a really long time since I get to stay-over with wifey.
I woke up pretty early to help my mum with some household chores since tomorrow will be Lunar New Year's Eve and she has quite a lot of things to do. By around 12.00 noon I am done with most of the things and headed off to wifey's house.
Wifey and me have plans for a romantic day since it was the eve of my birthday but somehow the plans were been cancelled after we fell asleep together. What was planned to be a 15 minutes nap turn out to be about 4 hours of sleeping time in the afternoon. However, it was a good sleep as we hug each other and felt the warmness of each other's body during the sleep. That is really quality sleep.
Since we slept through the afternoon, we are left with the night to spend wakening time together. We then decided to go for movie marathon. Browsing through the website, we decided to watch Bride Wars at Golden Village Tampines Mall followed by Love Matters at Century Square.
Both movies are very nice and after the movie we walked back to Tampines West CC MacDonald's to eat the Prosperity Burger before we head home to sleep. This is a really nice day with wifey spending time the whole afternoon and night with him. Although throughout the day we fell asleep and we are going to sleep again after the movie but it is really nice.
Having someone to hold in my arms to sleep, knowing that the person I love most is lying next to me on the bed and once in a while when I toss and turn I feel his body next to me. Able to hear him snore and knowing he is sleeping soundly, hugging him once in a while sleeping and giving him a peck on his cheek while he is asleep... all of these makes my day already.
