Had a really good sleep with wifey on his bed. I did not even realized that MIL is back home along with wifey’s granny. When wifey woke me up, it was already 10.00am and we were running late for the wedding. Wifey had told his gang (CGH) that we will all meet at 11.00am so that we can all witness the solemnization ceremony. So need to get ready fastest possible.
Wifey prepare my jeans (borrowed from Brendan one year ago) and also got me a nice t-shirt he used to wear. He also irons them for me while I took my shower. Had a huge erection in the shower room thinking about the love-making session earlier on and the toilet door opened. Wifey saw my huge erection, came in and grab it, teasing me. I can also see that wifey is having a huge erection also since his shorts did not do a good job to hide his big hard penis.
After shower, I took over the iron and iron wifey’s clothing while he shower and do his hair. Surprisingly wifey is very fast today. He only used about 15 minutes to get all ready. I am very impressed. By around 10.40am both me and wifey were ready to leave the house. Said hello and goodbye to both my MIL and my GIL (Grandma-In-Law). GIL appeared very friendly and smiling a lot. According to wifey, this Gil is the best and he likes her most among all my other GIL.
We had to withdraw money for the green packet but the queue was long. Luckily, Yazid called back and we borrowed S$50.00 from him first to save the time from queuing at the ATM machine. We then hail a cab and head for our destination. The cab driver is an old man and he irritated wifey at the end of the trip. Wifey had given him the direction where to turn but he seems to be deaf and overshoot. Thus, we have to alight quite far from our destination and walked over.
When we reached, only two other friends from CGH had arrived. We went up the house of the bride but the room was packed as they are having prayers. According to wifey, this is an important part of the wedding as this determines if the guy gets to marry the gal. On the floor are gifts bought by the groom that will be given to the bride. According to wifey it is a form of tradition that the bride and groom will exchange gifts (a lot of them) for the ceremony and the gifts come in all different ranges and prices.
When the prayers are finally over, we enter the house and say hello to the bride. We also managed to take a good look at the gifts prepared by the groom. They include some food, clothes, praying matt, cosmetics, jewellery and some other stuff (cannot remember all). After a short while the items are all brought into the bride’s bedroom while the gifts prepared by the bride for the groom is brought out and displayed.
The bride prepared a lot of food as gifts for the groom. There are a lot of chocolates, different brands of it and also a pair of working shoes, a watch, a sunshade, and a motor miniature. Most of the other stuff is also food. The display however of the items are much nicer compared to the groom’s gifts although the groom’s gifts have a wider variety of items.
All of the colleagues from CGH were there and we took the chance to take a group photo together. Although I am not from CGH but the fact that wifey asked me to join in the photo made me feel like part of the family. Most importantly, part of wifey’s life and that makes me happy. After the photo-taking we proceed to the void deck for our lunch.
The lunch is really good. The variety may not be much but the taste is great. For a person like me who hates mutton, for once I am enjoying it. The beef and chicken is nice too. The desert consists of different cakes and jelly (my favourite). Like many other weddings, regardless Malay, Indian or Chinese, they will give each and every guest a little gift and for this wedding, an IKEA cup with sweets inside, all wrapped nicely.
We waited for about an hour plus at the void deck for the bride and groom to come down. In the mean time wifey and his gang were gossiping about work and happily taking pictures together. When the bride and groom finally arrived, the whole gang blocked the path of the groom to request for a “monetary pass”. It was meant to make fun of the groom and the situation and the groom played it well. Everyone was happy and laughing about it. After another proper group photo, we all left the place and go on our own way.
Me and wifey followed Nadiah to CGH to visit a senior nurse who is dying. Seah give us a life in his newly bought Saburu weekend car. Both wifey and me wondered how a nursing student earning S$900.00 per month can afford weekend car and I-phone and everything. My guess is simple – family supporting him.
When we reached the hospital, we went straight up to MICU unit as we are not sure if fruit baskets are allowed. The senior nurse was asleep and thus wifey and Nadiah did not wake her up. They borrowed a pen and paper and wrote her a note wishing her speedy recovery. Wifey told me that the senior nurse will die anytime soon as three of her main arteries were blocked. The other small ones are also mostly blocked and she now belongs to the anytime-will-die category. Can only wish her less pain now since recovery is not possible.
After the visit we took a cab and send Nadiah to her boyfriend’s house which happens to be the same block as Andy. Then we continue the trip to wifey’s place and I send him up before I head back home. It was drizzling and I expect heavier rain so I head to the ATM to withdraw cash just in case I need to take cab. Wifey also called me and asked me to take cab home since I was tired and it was raining heavily by then. I heed wifey’s word, waited a long time for the cab but was home pretty fast once I managed to get one.
“Wifey Shaari, I want to be in your Life Forever.”
